Galco Waterford Ltd is part of the Galco Group is the largest provider of Hot Dip Galvanizing in Ireland with 6 Plants on 5 sites throughout the country. We currently wish to recruit a Production Administration Co-Ordinator at our Waterford plant to deal with Goods in and Goods out despatches, and general galvanizing enquires. Scope: The person will report to the site Business Manager and work as part of the Customer Service team. Job Description: Dealing with incoming & outgoing Customer jobs including taking paymentsLiaising with production staff and the office to meet customer deadlinesCustomer Service (Enquiries/complaints etc.)Photographing jobs that come into the yard for traceabilityGeneral administration work.Administrative control of the ISO 9001 Quality Management System.Training – Booking and making sure all training records are recorded the Quality Management folder.Looking after PPE for the factory.Controlling Transport. Interpersonal Skills Needed: Must have high positive approach to their work and demonstrate high professional standards.Confident and professional telephone manner essential.Excellent communication skills.High attention to detail.Ability to work on own initiative when required.Ability to multitask and work to deadlines in a team environment.Possess a high work ethic and be willing to go above and beyond.Must be proficient in the English language. Skills & Experience Required: A good standard of education.2 years’ experience working in a busy office / production environmentExperience of IT packages including Outlook, Excel & Databases.Accounts Experience (preferred but not essential)Knowledge of ISO 9001 would be an advantage
