Colm Burns Commercials Ltd are a leading commercial dealer in the Northwest with agencies for Mercedes, Hino, Isuzu and Daf. Due to continued expansion, we are recruiting a Parts Manager. This is a full-time permanent role. The successful candidate will be working in a busy parts department with a large customer base of trade, retail, and internal customers. The ideal candidate will bring experience of the motor trade and add additional value to an experienced department. Applicants should possess excellent communication, organisational and IT skills along with a broad working knowledge of the motor industry. Duties Efficient handling of parts enquiries via phone, email, web, workshop, and customer walk insMaximising all sales opportunitiesServicing workshop technicians with parts for workshop jobsAccurate checking of incoming deliveries, ensuring items are correctly located and correct data entry of both incoming and outgoing parts on parts management system.Maintaining regular contact with customer base to reinforce the Companies reputation as supplier of choice in local area.Manage stock to ensure proper inventory control.Monitor budgets.Achieve KPI, s in accordance with distributor regulations.Candidate profile Previous parts experience within the motor sectorGood customer service skillsExcellent interpersonal and IT skillsGood overall knowledge of the motor industryA positive and motivated attitudeStrong negotiation, buying and selling skills.Salary commensurate with experience.
