As a Warehouse Operative you will be a key member of our Parts Department team and work collaboratively with colleagues to provide a first class service within our warehouse. Our Parts Department prides itself on our consistent outstanding level of customer experience throughout the parts order process. Professional call handling and front counter customer service, efficient goods inwards and back counter parts supply to our workshop department, speedy despatch and delivery on time every time is a must. Key Responsibilities and Accountabilities This role may grow and evolve over time and whilst the key responsibilities for the role are outlined below they are not limited to same. Receiving in and checking goods from suppliers and putting stock away to correct area/location/bin – attention to detail is keyPicking and packing orders for despatch in a timely and efficient manner - daily time deadlines must be met Updating computerised system to ensure stock accuracyUtilising distribution partners systems to ensure correct shipments to correct customersEnsuring the cleanliness and proper stocking of inventory in the work areaFull use of and maintaining of the warehouse equipment (forklifts, pickers, vans etc)Conducting cycle counts of inventoryCoordinating workflow and tasks with other team membersPerson specifications This role will suit candidates with a knowledge/interest in the truck, bus, trailer or vans parts sector.Positive attitude towards work tasks and ability to get along and work well with colleagues.
