Axis environmental Services are a rapidly growing company providing Environmental Testing, Consultancy and Health and Safety Services to a variety of industries throughout Ireland. We are currently looking to expand our Field Services Team. This technician role will involve the completion of environmental monitoring, including air, water, noise monitoring etc. nationwide. The company offer full training and support with the opportunity to learn and develop a variety of Technical skills. Qualifications: The ideal candidate will have: At least 1 year’s relevant environmental monitoring experience Strong knowledge of management systems and controls A background in environmental or agricultural science or engineering related degree. § Full clean Irish Driving Licence Other requirements: § A good acumen for technical and physical field work § A hard working ethic and enthusiasm to achieve § Good organisational & report writing skills § A good team worker § The ability to learn quickly (as technical data would have to be mastered over time) § Ability to work on own initiative § Problem solving and decision making capabilities § A good personality with the ability to communicate and develop Customer Relationships § Flexible to work around the country including overnight stays § Comfortable working at heights Experience in the following would be an advantage but is not mandatory: § Safe Pass, Working at heights etc. Training § Previous on site experience Responsibilities: Responsible for completion of environmental monitoring in line with relevant EN standards & guidance Driving to the customer site using a company provided van Managing site contracts, scheduling, emissions monitoring and compilation of reports.
