Accounts Assistant The Candidate will be supporting the Finance and Management Team with the administration of the accounts across sister properties. Department:Finance and Accounting Reports to: Financial Controller Location: Tallaght Cross Hotel / The Plaza Hotel Tallaght Contracted: Permanent part time contract Key Duties and Responsibilities: Accounts Assistant – Some tasks may be required to be performed for two sister properties• Perform Income Audit file data input from relevant reports. Investigate any discrepancies in the lodgements and follow up with the relevant departments.• Follow up with the debtors on the city ledger invoices reconciliations and settlement.• Respond to Debtor issues in a quick and efficient manner to maintain a high level of customer satisfaction and quality service.• Liaise with Front Office Teams in monitoring the debtor ledgers (Guest Ledger). Prepare weekly reports on the outstanding items.• Check House and Management account movements and prepare detailed analysis report on a weekly basis• Assist Finance team with various ad hoc duties when they arise (ad hoc and weekly reports preparation).• Participate in training programmes as required. HEALTH & SAFETY• To fulfil your obligations under the Health & Safety at Work Act 1989 and any revisions or additional legislation made thereto.• To ensure that reasonable care is taken for health and safety of yourself, other employees, guests and any other person on the premises.• To keep your work area tidy and safe and report any hazard, accident, loss or damage to management.• To be aware of trained first-aid personnel on the premises and the location of first aid box.• To observe all safety rules and procedures, including those laid down in the Health & Safety Statement for your place of work. Education and Experience Requirements - Completed Accounting Technician (or similar level) qualification. - Minimum 1 year experience in accounts receivable role - Sage 50 Accounting system knowledge - Hotel experience and Hot Soft Front Office system knowledge is an advantage - Strong Excel skills Skills:Previous Experience Time Management Ability Work Under
